How do I sell my gently used horse tack at HPCS?
If you have gently used, clean horse tack that you would like to sell on consignment, just bring your items in to our Brush, CO store. We will inspect each item to ensure it meets our resell standards before adding to our consignment inventory.

Who sets the price for my consigned horse tack?
You get to set the price for each piece of horse tack we sell on consignment. We recommend that you set a reasonable price for each item by researching current prices for similar used items. We mark up your price to cover the costs of carrying your items in our store.

Does HPCS accept all used horse tack?
Our goal is to offer gently used, high quality horse tack to HPCS customers. Each piece of tack sold on consignment goes through an approval process to determine if the item is resellable. We reserve the right to refuse any horse tack consignment item.

Does HPCS guarantee the consignment horse tack it carries?
We sell all consignment items as-is and do not guarantee any of our consignment products. The buyer is responsible for thoroughly examining each item before purchase.

Can I return a consignment item I purchased?
While we hope you love your new-to-you horse tack, we realize there may be times that you need to return an item. We accept consignment items for return within 15 days of purchase. Items returned more than 15 days after purchase will not be accepted so that we can pay our consignors in a timely manner.

How long will HPCS keep my consignment items on display?
In order to keep our horse tack consignment inventory fresh and updated, we display each piece of tack for six months. If the item has not sold in that 6-month period, the consignor is responsible for retrieving each item from HPCS. Any items left at HPCS at the end of the 6-month period become property of HPCS.

When do I get paid if my consigned horse tack sells?
We process consignment payments on the 30th of each month. Because we offer a 15-day return period, we do not process payments for consigned items sooner than 30 days after the sale of the consigned items. Check payments are mailed to the address we have on file for you; it’s your responsibility to make sure we have your most current address.
