Durable Year-Round Shade
Woven shade cloths offer quality fabrication with high strength, UV stabilized, polypropylene reinforcement tape sewn to panel edges and seams to help prevent fraying. All seams are sewn with UV stabilized thread.
Green-Tek is the only shade cloth manufacturer in North America that uses four lines of superior-strength UV resistant monofilament thread on their seams whereas other manufacturers only use two lines of thread. This increases the strength of Green-Tek’s cloths, thus more likely to hold up in high winds compared to their competitor.
Brass spread grommets are fastened every 2′ into taped edges and seams to provide a secure grip for installation clips, ties, or S-hooks.
